    Description

Antique Victorian Petticoat Drawstring Closure Embroidered Ruffle Trim
Antique Victorian petticoat with drawstring closure, appears to have a hand embroidered trim ruffle, nicely finished off on the inside and some of it was hand sewn as can be seen in the last photo. It was once in a museum and still has the original museum tag stock number on it. It measures approximately:
    46" waist with drawstring
    39" waist to hemline
    94" sweep (ruffle is longer)
10 1/2" wide eyelet embroidered trim
It has a few spots that may come out when soaked, the drawstring needs restringing and there is some wear along the very edge of the hem as shown.
It should be cleaned & ironed as it's been in storage for many years (no bad odors).
I am starting to sell my vintage clothing collection I've had for many years. Please check back for more when I have time to list them, I will!
Please feel free to ask any questions. I try to include everything but sometimes I miss something.

I always try to start my listings low and with no reserve, and try desperately to do my best at describing things and any issues they may have. I sell mostly vintage & antique clothing and unfortunately when they are 50-100 years old they are usually never perfect.
