    NOS Lady Elizabeth Size 34 Ivory Slip.
    Please be sure to check our other auctions since we presently have, or soon will have, a number of new old stock vintage women's lingerie, some with the original boxes.  These panties, slips and girdles were all obtained a number of years ago from a gigantic yard sale just outside of Boston.  The yard sale, which included vast amount of items from the 1920s through the 1960s purchased new and never used, lasted for six full weekends. The father was Raymond Douglass, who was a math teacher at MIT for 35 years.  The mother was Ollave Douglass, who was a homemaker, a full time shopper and an obsessive-compulsive hoarder: the now retired daughter was known to quote her mother as saying "if one was good, twelve was better".  The newspaper account can be seen in the auction photos.

    The slip is brand new old stock which was bought and never used, of a fine quality, and is luxurious.
