Ultra-Feminine Mad Men 1950s White on White Lace Applique Half Slip - Sz M

Description

Charming 1950s white on white lace applique half slip in soft silky nylon!  Such a pretty little slip with a floral spray at the front hemline up into the center front of the slip.  This is a special slip with a personality all its own.  The elastic at the waistline is in very good condition. The nylon is still fresh and the detailing is adorable.
This is a beautifully made item as you would expect from a fine maker in the 1950s when most of these items were made in the U.S.A. and that was a guarantee of quality and craftsmanship.
Measurements are 22-36" at the waist, up to 36" at the hip, and the length is 21" from the waist.  There is lots of give to this fabric and all measurements were taken outside the garment at full extension but without stretch (waist was taken both ways).  There is no surviving label but this can be machine washed in cold water on gentle and hung to dry as with all fine lingerie.
I only sell quality merchandise and I always disclose flaws.  This slip is in very good vintage condition with slight
expected signs of wear, and two spots on the back hemline treatment where the stitching is missing (looks like manufacturing flaw).  Low starting bid reflects the imperfections.
