Unique Stiff Netting Vintage 1950's HER MAJESTY Tiered Petticoat - Sz S - USA

Lovely unique stiff netting tiered white petticoat!  This is a one layer sheer petticoat with 8" on soft nylon from the waist to the first stiff tier.  The four stiff netting tiers are trimmed in narrow ribbon at the top and bottoms of each tier.  The netting feels like it has been starched but the stiffness does not come out after laundering.  The elastic at the waistline has plenty of stretch left but there is visible wear as can be seen in the photos.

This is a beautifully made item as you would expect from a fine maker like Her Majesty in the 1950s when made in the U.S.A. was a guaranteed of the highest quality and craftsmanship.
Measurements are 24-36"
at the waist, up to 36" at the hip, and the length is 26.5" from the top of the waistband.  There is give to this fabric from the waist to almost the hip.  All measurements were taken outside the garment at full extension but without stretch (waist taken both ways).  The label says, "Her Majesty - Size S" on the front and "Style 1223" on the back.  There are no washing instructions which was typical in the 1950s but this can be machine washed on gentle in cold water and hung to dry as with all fine lingerie.
I only sell quality merchandise and I always disclose flaws.  This petticoat is in excellent vintage condition with
some wear to the elastic at the waistline. The low starting bid reflects the small flaw.
